During our research interviews with ClearBridge, we discovered a company of intelligent, inquisitive and collaborative people that we truly admire. The most recent project we did with them is a brand campaign that launched early this year. Our strategy was to differentiate ClearBridge’s approach to active management. The campaign shows their bias toward strong, long-held portfolio companies and reveals their in-depth knowledge of their companies through ESG-integrated fundamental research and relationships with top management. The target audiences are institutional investors and financial advisors, with an emphasis on the former. While many investment firms call themselves active managers, the ClearBridge approach invests time, patience and expertise. It’s an authentic approach to active management.

ClearBridge are leaders in ESG (environmental, social, governance) and have long seen a corrolation between strong ESG practices and better business outcomes. We interviewed ClearBridge investment experts and discovered a wealth of stories about ways ClearBridge discussed better ESG practices with leaders of their portfolio companies. These stories became the basis of our campaign concept that established ClearBridge as experts in the space and gave advisors a way to discuss ESG investments with clients.
